Annual Giving Statement Suggestions for 2022

I've just completed (hopefully) the giving statement process for the first time. There are a few things that would make this process much more user friendly.

  1. The ability to "NOT GENERATE STATEMENT" for people who do not actually have any contribution giving but make it onto the list for statement generation. This year I had to generate statements and then remove them after the fact. Slows down the process for not much gain.

  2. If the 50 batch number has to remain, giving us a page indicator at the bottom or a total of additional records left to process would also be helpful. We were blindly moving through the process all day with no end in sight.

  3. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to see a consolidated list of any emailed giving statements so that we can verify that between the PDF's generated and the emails sent that we are in the ballpark of a complete listing.

  4. Consider upping the 50 batch limit. Our organization issues over 1500 statements per year. 50 at a time is SO inefficient

I'm grateful for the updates that were made this year, don't get me wrong, but there is still MUCH to be done to bring this process up to the Blackbaud standard.

I agree with all the above! The sending of Giving Statements was a nightmare this year! I still do not know who did or did not get statements via email. Working with the help through the chat was time consuming and not very helpful.
