We are currently in the process of nominating new deacons for the next year. As part of that process, I have to verify the attendance % for the last year in the Life Group each man is in. As it is currently set up, I have to go into each person's small group and open each week's attendance, check if present, for 52 weeks (one person/one week at the time), keep a tally, and then do the math. While that's doable, it's EXTREMELY time consuming and would be helpful to be able to pull reports to give that information.
This is a helpful step in the right direction. What would be better is to be able to generate a report of everyone who is nominated as a deacon (by a constituent code, membership in a deacon's training class, volunteer team, faith journey step, etc) including the percentage attendance in a type of group or class over X weeks. What you've shipped may make it simpler than previous, but still requires lots of math on the part of the admin staff.
Thank you for the attendance grid for small group. Could we also have this for classes under the events section? This would be very helpful for our preschool/children staff who must use classes for attendance when using check-in.
Thank you for this idea and for including the specific use case you are trying to solve for! To meet this need, we have enhanced the Timeline on the Constituent Record to include Small Group (and Classes) attendance. This shows all attendance information for each individual. We have also added an attendance grid to each Small Group which shows attendance information for each individual for that Small Group.
This is a basic need for church health. We would also want to target constituents who have been out for an extended period of time, with a workflow. We would love for this to be somewhat automated to flag relationship managers, the Senior Pastor and as needed ministerial and support staff. (set number of missed meetings, run task that would create workflows and send to whomever may make contact)
THIS IS REALLY NEEDED!!
