Ability to Print the Constituent record - printable format
A way to have a button so that the constituent information is displayed in a printable format easily. Similar to Quick Profile page or something with no formatting issues that can be sent to a printer.
In addition to concurring with Charmel's "technology aptitude" point, I find a print-friendly constituent profile a critical need for our development field contact files. It would prove ideal to have relationships, giving history and all custom fields at our fingertips without relying on a WiFi connection.
Thank you for the clarification and reminder on how else we can access data. There are just some people who still need paper to look at or in their hand :) For the most part this is something we would want to do for 1 constituent at a time .
Thank you for that context. One way you can currently accomplish this is by printing the information from lists via Excel. It's not a first-class printed page, but it can get the job done in a pinch. I do also want to make sure you know that the contact on the record page is responsive, so it does respond and show properly on phones and mobile devices.
For those with less technology aptitude, sometimes a print out of the data makes it easier for an administrator or the pastor to review the details and take the contact info with them for a visit, etc. Screen shots just don't work well without manipulating the layout. Typically looking for just the constituent summary, contact info and membership tile info
