More filters are necessary in Lists
More list filters are required to use Church Management effectively:
- All Church-related values:
- Membership Status
- Faith Journey Steps (Completed Y/N, Date Completed)
- Check-In Data: Age, Roster/Roster Attendance/Parents of
- Volunteer Assignment, Position, etc.
- Gift Subtype
- Action Details, including Types and Attributes (currently available in Action lists but not Constituent lists)

Thank you for the continuing feedback on what List filters we can ship and improve! We have iterated and added many categories such as Grade Levels, Membership criteria, Small group information, and the Faith Journey information.
We are marking this Idea as shipped!If you would like to suggest further filters for us to include in Lists, please create a separate Idea for each filter you are looking for so you can all prioritize them with your votes.
Each filter takes us a good deal of engineering time to implement, so being able to tell which filters are most important, by your votes, will be the way we gauge what to work on moving forward.

Every quarter we need to produce a list for presentation to the church of all the new salvations, baptisms or transfer of letter and they are all dated. So for example for the business meeting on February 21st we would present the new members since the last meeting, which was on November 15th. So I need to be able to sort the journey steps by their date of baptism, and then filter the dates of 11/15/2020-2/21/2021. I could then export the list to give me all the journey steps for the date range above and then sort each type of journey step. But I need to be able to sort by the journey step date. Currently that is not an option.
Also at this time it is only giving a list of the head of household only. So if a man and wife came to change their church membership to ours it currently only shows me on the list 1 of them, (whoever the head of household is). So if a whole family moved here we get 1 of the 5 members on our list. We have to pull each person to see who all in the family is included.
Please help us to doing that.

Why couldn’t we just have the option to choose from any and all possible filters/fields/criteria available in anything and everything stored in the system no matter what kind of list or small group etc we are trying to create?

Charmel, if you create a separate idea for each List Filter option you are looking for, it will help us better prioritize them on our roadmap by the votes they receive.

4/15 Update - Membership Status and Faith Journey are available in Lists today. To Brooke's comment below, the "Print entire class roster" action does now include Addresses.
It would aslo be extremely helpful to be able to pull a printable list of a class roster and be able to include the address on file for each child. Our teachers are used to getting lists of the children in their classes to be able to contact and send letters to through the year.
We know we need to open up more of our fields into lists. If you're storing data, but can't utilize that data elsewhere (like in lists), that's a frustrating experience!
We're focusing on bringing forward the data in the Church Membership tile first, and will continue to listen to the community and prioritize which fields to bring over to lists based your feedback.
